Nearly five million people watched the instagram video, in which the pop singer paints flowers on a canvas outdoors. Now, the piece has found a buyer!
Once the Mozart ended and the paints were packed up, Spears donated one of her pieces to an auction organised by Vegas Cares benefit concert, which honored the first responders and victims of last month’s Las Vegas massacre.Entertainment reporter Robin Leach was in charge of auctioning off the piece and he ended up buying it himself for $10,000 as reported by artnet.
“I’m so proud to call Vegas my second home and I’m pleased to participate in this Vegas Cares show,” Britney said in a video message aired during the benefit. “The flowers in my painting represent a new beginning, and it’s in that spirit that we move forward.”
Back in 2015 during an interview on Australia’s 2DayFM Dan & Maz Show, Britney revealed, “I love Mariah Carey. Still to this day,” ....''I have an art room, and I just paint on the walls and do all this kind of crazy stuff. I bought her new greatest hits, and her new Infinity record yesterday, and I was just in there with my top off, just like painting and doing all this artsy fartsy stuff.”
No doubt we are on for a soulfull renaissance and like her all of us want to bring out the colours of our life.
