Carmen Yanez, Luis Sepulveda in the 70s

Chilean poet Carmen Yáñez, writer Luis Sepúlveda's wife, wrote an emotional poem on her husbands passing away on 16 april, 2020.It was published in the Spanish regional newspaper El Comercio, from Asturias.They were married twice, first time in Chile in 1971 and second time in Gijón, Spain, in 2004.In between, they didn't see each other for 20 years.

Federico Garcia Lorca was an emblematic member of the Generation of '27, a group consisting of mostly poets who introduced the tenets of European movements, such as symbolism, futurism, and surrealism into Spanish literature.Lorca was executed at 38 by Nationalist forces at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War.His body has never been found.
